These terms cover your use of the Showpile app and this website. Using the app means you accept them.
This page is available in English only. We would rather show you the reviewed English text than a machine translation of a legal document.
Your account
You need an account to sync across devices and to post publicly. Keep your login details to yourself — you're responsible for activity under your account. Use an email address you actually control, so you can recover access.
What you post
You keep ownership of the reviews, comments and lists you write. By posting them publicly you give us permission to display and distribute them inside the app. Don't post anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or that infringes someone else's rights. We can remove content and suspend accounts that break this.
Content information
Film and series data, including posters and descriptions, comes from TMDB. Showpile does not host, stream or provide access to any film or series. It only helps you keep track of them.
Subscriptions
Showpile is free to download. Optional paid features are billed through your App Store account and renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel in your App Store account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under their policy, not by us.
Availability
We work to keep the service running, but we don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service entirely, we'll give reasonable notice so you can export what matters to you.
Liability
Showpile is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law in your country.
